The workshop provided an overview of the current state and future outlook of the Takaful industry across various countries. It is hoped that this workshop will highlight Malaysia’s Takaful industry and, to some extent, reinforce the country’s position as a regional hub for Takaful.
On Day 2 (5 June 2025), MTA hosted a panel discussion focusing on the aspirations, collaborations, innovative solutions, and literacy advancement efforts within the Takaful industry in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei—three ASEAN countries where Takaful is experiencing significant growth.
The panelists were: Mr. Mohd Radzuan Mohamed, Mr. Haji Shahrildin Jaya, and Mr. Yurivanno Gani.
The session was moderated by Mr. Kumaran, CEO of the Insurance Collective, a Singapore-based solutions provider serving markets across the ASEAN region.
